Artist's Statement
My work is about human relationships, community/collective power, moving forward through darkness despite uncertainty, and composting parts of my psyche. Wrestling with the tension of imperfection, messiness, and uncomfortable truths is what I find most compelling. Engagement with the more challenging aspects of being human frees me to explore joy and visionary movement. Ethereal glimmers of magic and wonder serve as a flotation device as I swim through my own psychological muck.
